Your privacy

Privacy, plainly.

You can explore the public pages without an account.

Cookies and analytics

The public pages do not set cookies, use analytics or load advertising trackers. Fonts and visual assets are served from this website. Signing into the account area uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account actions.

Your account

Synaptix ID handles your password and MFA. This website stores your linked account identifier, display name, email address, approved access and an audit record of sign-ins and access changes. Email addresses are not used to merge accounts. Account information and audit records are included in protected service backups.

Paired Synaptix apps

If you pair the Synaptix app on your own computer, this website stores the app's device name, version, public key, the network prefix the pairing came from (not your full IP address) and when it last reported. For each character you choose to share it stores the label you gave it, its class and only its latest status: state, level, current run and area, this session's game counts and its schedule. In-game names, configuration, logs and screenshots are never sent. The latest status is deleted when you unpair the app, and no later than 90 days after a character stops being shared. Commands you send are kept for 90 days after they finish and pairing requests for 30 days. Pairing, unpairing and command events stay in your account's audit record.

Connection information

Serving pages involves processing connection information such as your IP address and the requested URL. Account sessions also record your browser information. Hosting and network services may record operational or security logs.

When you open another service

Synaptix ID and Gitea maintain their own sessions. Logging out of this website ends its session; other service sessions may remain signed in.
